Palace

Typically if a band is more well-known they perform at larger venues which allows more fans to attend the performance. This concept drives more revenue for both the performers and the venue hosting. However when a smaller, more unknown band gets the chance to put on a show at a larger venue it gives opportunity to reach a larger fan base. This is the case for openers to the main band, which is how smaller groups get bigger.

It was different for Palace in this case, as they performed at A&R Music Bar, a smaller venue with a relaxing bar vibe with very limited seating on event nights. Palace sold out the venue with a 400 person capacity and opened the garage sized doors to the outside balcony, making it the first show I had attended to allow outdoor seating for the season.

The show started the summer weather off with an affordable, relaxing and comfortable seating to accommodate to viewers that want more of a sit down social setting.

Thank you Shane Haley for letting me in last moment with my gear.
