I Am

The night is warm, too warm for Blue Jeans but I wear them anyways. One band’s merchandise table sends me to another, and then another until I meet Andrew, the lead of the band I Am. Now these tickets were gifted to me by a customer at my day job so I wasn’t too sure of what I was getting into. Andrew hooked me up with a press pass for the night so I ran out to grab my bag. Now when I return I was met with one of my worst fears… I am now the only one in the venue wearing blue jeans, or anything other than black.

I was nervous after the first two openers, one of which being the local band 156/ Silence. At this point in the night I could not hear very well and my phone had pretty much called it quits but I wanted to hold out until at least the band that allowed me in with the press pass. The band: I Am. Andrew and co. brought the energy and heat to the venue, pulling all of the crowd closer to the stage.

Now Andrew had the hair to back up his music and wasn’t afraid to show it off. This guy had to be one of the nicest band members I have ever actually met and then it was like a switch went off from what was a soft spoken guy with a rockin mustache was followed up by The Man with the Mustache and Hair bringing such a moving energy to the venue.

Thank you to Alix for the tickets, you were one of MY regulars.

Thank you to Andrew for being so nice and helping me out.
